Lean Leadership One-Day Workshop (ABB)
For the third course of the four-part Transformation Series (which also includes Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S and MDI, Lean 101 & Interactive Simulation, and Lean Product Development workshops), we will cover effective leadership and help those in the industry walk away with a new sense of mission and understanding of what it takes to lead. Even the most robust process improvement cannot be sustained without the support of supervisors and managers. To get the most out of our people and processes, we must learn to lead as an alternative to managing. Because when effective leaders are in place, a company can move mountains. By improving efficiency, cross-training team members, reducing waste, developing standards of work, you can do more with less. Lean leadership is about understanding and applying concepts and principles of Lean thinking to all aspects of operations and will be reviewed in this presentation. According to Gallup Polls (as cited in Forbes Feb 22, 2017) 50% of employee’s indicated they left a position because of their manager. If you are interested in retaining employee’s, creating a more engaged workforce, along with creating efficiencies in processes, then this is the workshop for you.
ABB Motors & Mechanical Inc., the leading marketer, designer, manufacturer, and service provider of industrial electric motors, generators, and mechanical power transmission products is graciously hosting these four workshops in their St. Louis training room and will offer onsite tours of the applicable areas following each session. If you sign up for the four-part series, a different course will be taught each month for four consecutive months, making it convenient, yet top of mind, for companies.
The Continuous Improvement Transformation Series Includes:
The individual Lean Leadership Workshop is $295 per person. Lunch is included.
