Amy N. Susan serves as the Communications Manager for Missouri Enterprise.
With a Bachelor of Broadcast Journalism degree from the University of Missouri, Amy has a passion for telling the Made-in-Missouri story and celebrating the state's manufacturing community. Throughout her career, she has shared the stories of many Missouri manufacturers in several high-profile mediums including Fortune Magazine, Forbes 30 under 30, Area Business Development, Trade & Industry Magazine, Site Selection, Motor Trend, CNBC and Autoweek. And with today's ever-changing communications tools, she champions Missouri Enterprise's social media accounts, sharing news about Missouri manufacturing companies, tips on how to increase efficiency and productivity, latest state, national and international developments that could impact manufacturing, and helpful videos. She previously worked for the State of Missouri and represented CEOs of major companies as well as high level officials and international dignitaries. Amy led the Communications & Marketing units at the Missouri Department of Economic Development as well as at the Missouri Department of Labor, launching statewide and nation-wide branding campaigns on workforce development programs and the automotive supply chain. Workforce development continues to be a focus area of Amy's as she works to identify new initiatives, trends and efforts geared towards helping manufacturers find solutions to the workforce shortage epidemic.
Amy has also traveled and lived in several countries, teaching English in China and researching in Australia. She currently serves on the University of Missouri School of Law’s Entrepreneur Legal Clinic advisory board and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
